Deep breath! It’s Friday and I only have to work a half day. That’s pretty wonderful right there.
Finally starting to feel better. I managed to get a bit of a spin in yesterday after work. It felt so good to sweat and work again. I’m still coughing some, but at this point I’m feeling frisky and raring to get back at it. Granted the cough says otherwise, but I’m o-v-e-r over it!
And can you believe it, we’re finally going to get warm temperatures and it’s going to rain, nonstop, for the unforeseeable future? Doesn’t that just figure. The only day that is going to be warm and sunny is Monday I have to work an 11 hour day. I want to smash my face into my desk when I think about it because it’s the only nice day anytime soon by the looks of it that I could get out on my bike.

I’m looking forward to Sunday. I’ll get myself to the swim clinic with my tri club then afterwards I’m hoping to get my long run in. I haven’t decided if I’m going to do last week’s seven miler that I missed or just skip ahead to this week’s eight miler. Rule of thumb is usually to keep moving forward in your plan, so, yeah. Probably eight miles.
As for weekend plans, I don’t know that I have any. We’ll see. Nothing too exciting on my docket as far as I know.
