Review and GIVEAWAY – My Race Ragz

Hello my lovelies! Are you ready to get your groove on? I sure hope so because thanks to my affiliation with Fit Approach  as a Sweat Pink Ambassador I’m bringing you an awesome review plus GIVEAWAY!

You may or may not be aware that one of my favorite ways to motivate myself through race season is with a custom workout shirt with my race line up down the back. I love getting to check them off then rock my shirt at the gym. Helloooo feeling like a bad ass!

So when I was provided the opportunity to review a shirt from myraceragz.com I was beside myself excited.

They offer custom tech wick shirts in long sleeve, short sleeve, and various sleeveless styles. It’s run by triathlete husband and wife, so they know what endurance and casual athletes alike are looking for.

The material is high quality and they have a special dying process as opposed to transfers or other methods that other shirt sites use. The customization was awesome too. The options of premade designs is almost endless. Really, hundreds to choose from. You could easily drive yourself nuts trying to pick something. I basically did.

You can also upload or create your own designs, which is the route I took.

And can I just say how awesome my shirt came out! Seriously, I am very pleased with the outcome. The quality of both the shirt material and the printing job was beyond my expectations. I put this shirt through it’s paces too. I worked out in it a few times before writing this review including a two hour spin class on our first real hot and humid day in the non air conditioned spin room. I sweat buckets and happily stayed quite dry. And after a few washes the dye is still as bright as the day I got it.

My line up minus a couple 5k’s and one 10k

I think my only complaints are that they only offer white as the shirt color and that I didn’t get the v-neck sleeveless option. The neck line on this ones a tad high for my liking, but not enough so to deter me from wearing it at all.

And look-

I already checked my first race off! Get ready Rat Snake, you’re next!

32 Thoughts on “Review and GIVEAWAY – My Race Ragz

  1. What a brilliant! A custom print in something other than plain cotton!!!

  2. This is awesome! I’ve been looking for a place to get t-shirts made for my husband’s Ironman later this year. I’ve wanted tech shirts so this is the perfect place for me to get them made. Thanks for sharing!

  3. Love the shirt! It’s awesome to have another place to look at when ordering custom workout shirts.

  4. This is a great idea but one that I would do when I have signed up for more races; otherwise, my shirt would have two races listed this year! Seems kinda sad. Next year will be a greater list. Did you just use marker to check off the race that you completed?

  5. I love that idea! Since I don’t plan my races I’d probably create something along the lines of why I run or stay fit.
    Sweet giveaway!

  6. This is perfect timing, as I have an idea (or five) for my own custom shirt… I love your Race Gauntlet idea though!

This shirt rocks! I would be hard pressed to make a decision on what to put on it- so many excellent ideas! We have a team of us here that do events together- we might have to make team shirts 🙂

  8. I absolutely love this shirt! I’d love one to train is as I prep for Augusta 70.3

  9. My brothers and I have been talking about making matching shirts we can wear when we lift (as we’re spread out across the country, it’d be fun to have that to tie us together)-

  10. Cute shirt! These look fun. I have a couple ideas in mind for mine. Thanks for the giveaway!

  11. I would make a blog shirt!

  12. I would make a social media shirt for sure! So cute.

  13. I would totally have it say “Yes, I signed up for this”!

  14. I have two shirt ideas. One is my dad’s famous quote, “Anyone can run a mile” (great mantra after running 10+ miles, etc) and the other is “On a scale of 1-10, I’m a 13.1”.

  15. I love this!! I would do either “Miles to go…” or the Shakespeare quote, “Thou she be but little….”

  16. I really love your shirt design idea! I’d probably put something about running for cheese (though I don’t really need an excuse to eat cheese, let’s be honest), or do something similar to what you did. If I put future races on the shirt, I couldn’t back out!

  17. With SD Mom of course!

  18. I’ve always wanted one that says “I’d flex, but I like this shirt.” 😛

  19. That seems like a cool idea. I’d have to think about it, whether I would go with a general design or race specific.

Maybe “Never give up. Never surrender.”

  20. Awesome!! I’d love to make a social media shirt I could wear at races!

  21. Hi! Since I’m more of a walker than a runner (lol), I would get the Women’s Endurance Race Tee with the imprint of the turtle with “I’ll Get There Eventually”. Thank-you!!

  22. Very cool! I’ve been wanting to make one that says Sweat is Fat Crying!

  23. I’d love to make one that supports me blog name and social media things. Love this

  24. I love your shirt! I’d like to pick one of the designs and add my name.

  25. I’m not sure what I would put on my shirt.

  26. This would be a great 2015 Goal Shirt!!!! I already know the races I would put on it!

  27. I would love to have one that says I run because it is cheaper than therapy. But I also love the goals shirt. Would be really neat to have one with distances on it so that I would focus more on building mileage.

  28. I would love to have a shirt to promote my blog at races! It’s tough to find a site that offers printing for only one shirt though. I’ll check them out!

  29. I would customize it with ” I live to run” Thanks for the opportunity.

  30. I am so excited to design my own shirt! Thank you so so so much!
